As someone who has both lived in and visited New York City, I have a lot of insight regarding the hotels in New York City. Most of my favorite hotels are located in Manhattan. However, one hotel in Manhattan has always been my absolute favorite. This hotel is none other than the W in Times Square. I learned about this hotel from a long-time friend who has lived in New York for over ten years. The nightly rate at the hotel ranges from $300-$500. This hotel is my favorite in New York for several reasons. First, the W Times Square is located in the middle of Times Square. This location makes it easy to get around to shows, restaurants, and various other attractions. Additionally, the hotel is located next to several bus and subway stops. So, one of the best aspects of this hotel is its centralized location. Being centrally located in New York City can save a lot of time and money in terms of the cost of transportation. The second aspect of the hotel that makes it my favorite is the fact that the hotel has great security and incredible rooms. The rooms are much larger than some other hotel rooms in New York and the security insures that any stay will be enjoyable. Be sure to visit the Living Room lounge when staying at the hotel. This lounge is incredibly relaxing and one of the most unique in New York. If you’ve ever stayed at a W hotel in the past, you know that their beds are among the softest in the hotel industry. This Times Square location is no different. All the rooms at the Times Square location feature the signature plush bed with heavy down comforter. Along with the superb accommodations within each room, the hotel staff is extremely friendly. I stayed at the W Times Square on two occasions and the staff was always more than willing to assist in any way possible. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York.
