Kahlil recommends the unique and exciting Circle-Line boat tour to anyone, even those who already live in New York:
I took a boat tour from Circle-Line sightseeing around the harbor of New York City and loved it very much. The Circle-Line tour began in 225 Broadway and we went all the way around the harbor once and saw many different sights. I went on this tour on Mar 20 and paid 35 dollars for this tour. I heard about this great tour from a friend and i checked out their website. I was skeptical at first but I bought a ticket anyway and when I get on the ship, I was unsure of what to expect. But after the friendly and a little too talkative tour guide started talking to us about the different sights, I was able to see NYC in a whole new perspective. The tour guide identified almost every single building with ease and told us some of the history about those buildings. For instance, the famous empire state building has around 6,500 windows and took about 7 million hours to create. I was surprised by the long hours it took to make. In addition to skyscrapers, I saw almost every single landmark there was to see such as the world famous Statue of liberty, the washington bridge, angel island, and even the yankee stadium. At some point, I felt hungry and so I went to the lower cabins where there were some food and refreshments. I was surprised to see such high quality food from a boat tour, but I was relieved to fill my stomach. After going back to the upper deck, I was seeing the city after the sun went down and it was a stupendous sight to see. There were so many lights, it dazzled me. Finally after 3 hours, the tour boat went back to the harbor and I was let off. Looking back, I would definitely recommend any boat tour of NYC to anyone, even people that already live in NYC. It was one of the most memorable experiences I had.
